May 1 3:30 – 5:00 Chota Rec Center Room B
What is the largest organ in the human body? By weight – it is our skin. Pretty important, considering how much exposure our skin receives from the environment and how skin may change as we age.
Why not take time to learn from a nationally recognized dermatologist at his presentation at Tellico Village University? Dr. Adam Wright will guide us through these very important areas:
- How to conduct a skin exam for yourself or a member of your family
- Common signs of lesions and common skin cancers
- Describe physician-recommended skin care and the types of products for every day use
- Describe procedures and medications that are used for cosmetic objectives
Dr. Wright from the Knoxville Institute of Dermatology in Knoxville and Lenoir City received the Mayo Brothers Distinguished Fellowship Award. He is board-certified in dermatology and fellowship-trained in Mohs micrographic surgery. He completed his dermatology residency and fellowship in Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN.
There is no tuition for this highly informative presentation, but registration is required so that we may plan for accordingly.
