Basics of Investments

September 8 10-12 Chota Room D

For those of you who are not well versed in the basic concepts and definitions of financial investment and are starting at “Square One”, here is a great place to start. You may be invested, but really did not understand how. Or your partner has always handled financial investments, and it’s time for you to learn how to carry on for yourself. You may need a little education so you can work with a financial planner with the knowledge you need. Join others with similar needs to take a basic course in basics of financial investments with Gary Stuart CFP. This is not a course for the financial savvy! So don’t be intimidated. Others with similar needs to learn the basics will be in the class. During this two hour session, you will learn in very simple language these important concepts:

  • What are the different types of investments: CD’s, Bonds, Stocks, Mutual Funds, and Annuities?
  • How do they work?
  • What are the benefits and risks of each?
  • How do you decide the best way to safeguard and grow your financial portfolio?

Gary Stuart has been a CFP, Certified Financial Planner, since 2008, and has been serving clients in the investment industry since 2004. He is a Tellico Village resident.

There is a $5 tuition payable to STAYinTV. Bring your check to class.
